INSTACASH’S E30 000 BOOST FOR NETBALL
EZULWINI – Netball teams will spring back into action in a knockout tournament proudly sponsored by INSTACASH mobile money company.
INSTACASH Managing Director (MD) Mandla ‘Cheeks’ Nxumalo unveiled the E30 000 sponsorship towards the knockout tournament during the sponsorship launch held yesterday morning at the Happy Valley Hotel. INSTACASH is an infant company to Inhlonhla Investment, whose partnership with Eswatini National Netball Association (ENNA) dates back over three years.
Receiving the sponsorship replica cheque, ENNA President Ntombikayise Masango said the association prides itself in aligning with the company which has grown over the years as this was aligned with ENNA development goals for the sports of netball in local and international competitions. “We are grateful to INSTACASH for partnering with us through this sponsorship that will help in talent identification and promote healthy living through exercise. It’s an old relationship and we promise as ENNA that we will do our best to support you and we commit to that. INSTACASH is a new product that has grown from Inhlonhla and we also promise to grow likewise,” Masango said.
Job
INSTACASH MD said the partnership was not only an investment towards sports development, but a platform to create job opportunities as the company was in the process of conducting a customer recruitment exercise. He explained that for every recruited client, the agent would get E5 per entry and an agent could earn over E5 000 per month depending on the number of customers registered. He said the netball family were privileged to be first in line in this initiative and encouraged all netball players to register for INSTACASH. “We have worked very well with the netball association for the past two years and it is for that reason that we want to continue with the partnership. Over 70 per cent of the population in this country is not formally employed. INSTACASH is here to address that situation since the majority can’t access insurance or financial assistance and create job opportunities through the customer recruitment exercise,” Nxumalo said.
He further said: “We currently have 25 000 customers and we target 100 000 customers by Christmas. This is the impact we want to achieve in the communities through this partnership. We will be here for a long time and it is important for people to be fit and exercise, so it is important for us to promote healthy living and identify talent.”
Motivated
Also present, Eswatini Sports and Recreation Council (ESRC) Chief Executive Officer Darius Dlomo said the sponsorship motivated athletes to thrive for excellence from which they derived joy. Dlomo committed himself to collaborating with INSTACASH agents by roping them in on Shukuma Eswatini Wellness Programme that reached out to vast communities every month. He said every customer recruited during the Shukuma exercise would count for netball as this programme reached out to about 500 people in each community.
