MoMo CUP: FANS VOTE FOR INDIVIDUAL AWARDS
MBABANE – New and exciting developments have been introduced in the MoMo Cup tournament.
Last week MoMo Cup introduced the best Public Relations Officer (PRO) and media awards.Fans will now vote for the individual excellence during the games of the tournament. According to a press statement released by the Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) yesterday, fans will now vote for the man of the match (MoM), player of the tournament as well as the golden glove. MTN FinTech will open voting lines at least 60 minutes before the kickoff of each game, with the names of the players on the starting list of each team.
Supporters will vote for their MoM until 80 minutes of the game. After the game has ended, the MoM will be announced. The MoM is entitled to E2 000, according to the MoMo Cup rules.
Candidates
“PLE Awards Committee, at 1:30pm on Sunday October 30, 2022 will submit a shortlist of candidates for the player of the tournament (PoT) and goalkeeper of the tournament (GoT) to be voted for on the MoMo system. Voting for the PoT and GoT will close at 80 minutes after kickoff,” reads the statement. The PoT and GoT are entitled to E10 000 and E5 000, respectively.
