B. SWALLOWS SIGN SWISS STRIKER

MBABANE – They have cast their net wide.

That is MTN National First Division outfit Pigg’s Peak Black Swallows, who will unleash a European striker from Switzerland, Gareth Gareihg, in the derby against relegated Malanti Chiefs today at Killarney Sports Ground. The Pigg’s Peak-based side’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Philile Dlamini, revealed that the player was born of a Switzerland father and a liSwati mother. “They just relocated to the country,” she said.
Dlamini said the Swiss had been signed alongside other foreign players as well as four local players from the premier league teams. Abafana Bemaphasela, as the national first division side is fondly known, are expected to unveil their players in the derby match this afternoon. The PRO said they wanted to keep their cards close to the chest otherwise their rivals would research about their deadly weapons.

She also said they were ready for Bafana Bemboyi (Malanti) as their main objective was to gain promotion back to the elite league. Dlamini invited their supporters to the stadium and appealed that they cheer the team as they would go home with happy faces. She further said that the supporters would part with E20 to watch the game and the tickets would be sold at the entry point.
The two Pigg’s Peak-based sides will lock horns at 3pm.
