SPURS RECOGNISE LOCAL SUPPORTERS

MBABANE – Spurs.

English Premiership League (EPL) side, Tottenham Hotspurs still treasures Eswatini Supporters Club (ESC) it has renewed its marriage contract with them. ESC is part of the over 425 official supporters clubs in countries across the world. The local club joined in 2019. It received over 110 membership cards for its members, who are die hard fans of the English club. Part of the items received through the post was the club flag, sticker and a placard.

Elated ESC Secretary Celumusa Tembe said they were proud of the items which they received each season as a form of recognition. He said indeed they were an authentic entity every local Spurs supporter must associate with, as even, the name of the country was displayed on billboards during big matches.  

Finals

“We have some of our members who have flown to England to watch the team and we hope this time around, we’ll go and watch them play the UEFA Champions League finals. However, we do organise and watch big fixtures together in places like Manzini,” Tembe said. He added that they will watch Hotspurs’ clash with Arsenal and encouraged interested supporters to contact him at 7604 7425 to join the club.
