PLE SUSPENDS ‘NKOMISHI’, ‘GUDAS’

MBABANE – Capital city giants, Mbabane Swallows will be minus shot-stopper Sandile ‘Nkomishi’ Ginindza in today’s crunch MTN Premier League match against Moneni Pirates.

The former Eswatini international will play no part in today’s match-up at Prince of Wales Sports Ground in Mbabane after being nabbed by the yellow card rule. The veteran goalkeeper is among frozen players in round 15 of the MTN Premier League alongside improving Manzini Wanderers midfielder Bonginkhosi ‘Gudas’ Dlamini, after accumulating three straight yellow cards. Wanderers face Sea Birds in Nhlangano on Saturday. In terms of Article 9.2 of the MTN Premier League Rules and Regulations, the players are automatically suspended from participating in the next match to be played by their respective sides.

‘Nkomishi’ was becoming a regular between the sticks at Swallows following the arrival of new Coach Caleb Ngwenya over a month ago. ‘Gudas’, on the other hand, is also among the key players at Wanderers. According to the list of suspended players released by Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) Football Manager, Pat Vilakati, yesterday, Manhice Belarmino from Ezulwini United is one of three suspended players in the National First Division. Others are Thabiso Sithole and Ayanda Mabuza from Hlathikulu Tycoons.
