MBABANE - Capital city giants Mbabane Swallows are building for the future.

The ‘Beautiful Birds’ have signed two little-known players from so-called small teams. The red and white outfit announced the signing of two new players and the news was shared by the team’s General Manager Sandile Zwane on Sunday. “We are proud to welcome Siyabonga Zwane and Siphephelo Newman Philiso to the team.
“Siyabonga joins us from Seven Dreams. Siphephelo joins us from Ludzeludze Killers FC.

National

“Siphephelo plays defence (right-back and centre back) and is a national Under-20 player with immense potential,” said Zwane in the press release. He said Siyabonga was a right winger and an experienced Premier League player, having previously played for defunct Vovovo before joining Seven Dreams. News coming from Swallows camp is that the player is the next Wonder ‘Samba Jive’ Nhleko and the latter is excited to groom the youngster.

“Both players are already looking forward to making a meaningful contribution to the team. “We can’t wait to support them on the field and we have no doubts that they will be helpful in our quest for greater heights,” he said.
He said they continue to give sincere gratitude to  their club’s President Bheki Lukhele, for giving young emaSwati the opportunity to pursue their passion and earn a living for their livelihood.

Support

He then welcomed the players and said they should get all the support to feel at home and hit the ground running as soon as possible. Another major signing that Swallows recently made, is that of former ManziniWanderers and Sihlangu star Neliswa ‘Tiger’ Dlamini.
