EXCLUSIVE REGISTRATION PERIOD EXTENSION

MBABANE - Due to unforeseen circumstances, EFA has exclusively extended the 2022/23 second window registration period.

Originally, it was set to close this past Friday. It has since been stretched to February 17, 2023 (this Friday).  Eswatini Football Association (EFA) Muzi Radebe shared that this exclusive arrangement was due to the reported challenges of travelling experienced countrywide, as a result of the torrential rains in the past week. “At varying instances the rains damaged and inhibited the passage channels, thus affecting the execution of registration process by various clubs for their players.

Transfers

“This extension is only applicable to domestic transfers and registration of players, under the jurisdiction of the EFA. The international transfer of players remains closed as of Friday, February 10, 2023,” said Radebe. All football clubs in the membership of EFA, affected by this environmental interruption, are therefore expected to have concluded their registration business by the new stipulated deadline), irrespective of any inclement weather that may become incidental.
