EZULWINI – The Nomads Golf Game raised E100 000.

This was confirmed by the Nomads Golf Club Vice Captain Sifiso Dhlamini yesterday. The one-day tournament, which attracted over 140 golfers, was played at the Ezulwini Country and Golf Club on Sunday. “We raised E100 000 for charity. We could have not done this without the support from sponsorships, donations and individuals. Teams that entered the four-ball also contributed through the joining fee of E2 400,” said Dhlamini.

Sponsors

He went on to thank the over 40 sponsors for the competition. Some of the sponsors were First National Bank (FNB), Mbabane Motors, PWC and Nedbank. Matrix Gym also contributed.
“There were many sponsors, donations, individuals and golfers who contributed to the success of the tournament. The rain did not dampen the spirit of golfers. We also had presentation where golfers won themselves good prizes,” added the vice captain. He also revealed that the E100 000 was donated to Msunduza Child Centre. He also disclosed that there were 36 teams, which consisted of nomads.
