AE RECORDS CLOSE TO E100K SURPLUS
MANZINI – Athletics Eswatini (AE) has recorded a surplus of close to E100 000.
This was revealed by the AE Treasurer Bongani Ntshalintshali during the elective Annual General Meeting (AGM), which was held at Khanyisa House in Manzini yesterday. These are financial from year ended on December 31, 2022. According to figures, the E93 972 surplus reflect a huge improvement from the E122 118 deficit. The surplus comes after the association received about E849 151. The association had an expenditure of E755 179.
Meanwhile, in 2021, the association incurred the deficit after they had an income of E528 129, which was sourced from World Athletics, Eswatini Sports and Recreation Council (ESRC), Inhlonhla, Eswatini Olympic Commonwealth Games Association (EOCGA) grant and some other sponsors, affiliation fee, registration, and licence fees. In 2021, they had an expenditure of E646 996. The financials were approved by the affiliates.
