MATSAPHA – Mulasport gives back.

The local sport betting company yesterday became official partners with the Eswatini National Volleyball Association (ENVA), through a sponsorship package of E120 000. The new relationship was launched at the Institute of Development Management (IDM), where a sponsorship launch tournament was played thereafter by some elite teams. Mulasport has been actively involved in a couple of sporting codes in the country, namely volleyball, netball and soccer. Eight teams played the tournament at the IDM indoor volleyball court. UNESWA went up against Ludzeludze in the opening fixture. “We have worked with soccer in the country and recently netball. We want to try and invest in as many sporting codes as we can,” Mulasport Head of Marketing and Communications Desiree Scott said.

Desiree said they also wanted to create a space where a beginner in volleyball for example, would know the opportunities as well as see them, to continue influencing generations of great athletes. “We hope that we can create a brighter future for athletes in the country by providing the necessary means for their success,” she expanded. In reaction to the windfall, ENVA Vice President Eric Gama said they were ‘grateful to Mulasport for coming through for us at a time like this’ since they were all recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic era. Meanwhile, ENVA has two elite leagues for male and females who are expected to play for the sponsorship package.
