gratitude
The athletes had the pleasure of travelling with TZD Director Zakhele Dlamini. Dlamini, who is also the Athletics Eswatini (AE) President, expressed his gratitude for the sizeable performance displayed by the team. He cited how happy he was by the performance of the athletes for the club as well as the country at large. He continued to mention that after the team won the 4x400m relay in the National Championships that were held at Mavuso Trade Centre two weeks ago, they thought it would be great to expose the team to international competition.
Zakhele further thanked all the club’s stakeholders, who made it possible for the team to travel to Botswana. The AE president implored for continued support as they plan on returning to the same competition next year if all goes as planned. He then thanked all those who supported them financially and morally.
