MBABANE – The doors have been opened.

This is the story of swatini international forceful winger Justice ‘John Paul’ Figuareido, who scored his first goal for DStv Premiership side Richards Bay yesterday night. The ‘Natal Rich Boys’, won 0-1 after defeating Moroka Swallows in what was also their first win of the season. The win against the ‘Dube Birds’ was their first  in 20 games. Their winless run, which dated back to January, is finally over.

The former Denver Sundowns winger penned a two-year contract with an option to renew with the ‘Natal Rich Boys’, as they are fondly known. He was in the books of Motsepe Foundation Championship outfit All Stars in the past season. ‘John Paul’ who could have easily scored a hat-trick was deservingly named man of the match.

The pacey forward thanked his coach for giving him an opportunity after coming from an international break “ I want to thank the coach for trusting me even though I’m from the international break. We have been fighting for a win and we knew that this game was going to be tough. We are happy to finally get the first three points of the season,” he said.
