DHL PARTNERS WITH SARGE, PUMPS IN E10 000
MBABANE – DHL Express Eswatini has joined the bandwagon of companies partnering with Social and Recreational Games Eswatini (SARGE).
The renowned logistics company has pumped in E10 000 to a social tournament under the SARGE banner. The sponsorship was officially launched at the company’s premises by the Country Manager Zitsile Dlamini, on Thursday. Also present were Country Operations Manager Sandile Mavuso and SARGE President Nathi Dlamini, as well as representatives of clubs. The country manager said as DHL Express Eswatini, they are proud to announce the sponsorship of the tournament billed to kickstart today.

“The DHL Soccer and Recreational football tournament is an exciting event that brings together corporate social teams for a day of sportsmanship and community building,” Dlamini said. She also underscored the company’s commitment to fostering community engagement and promoting a healthy as well as active lifestyle. “The sponsoring of this event directly speaks to our purpose of connecting people and improving lives; we are excited to be the naming sponsor of the tournament, as this is our commitment to the well-being and ensuring that lives of our people and communities are improved,” she said.

She further invited the public to join in the excitement, as they were looking forward to a memorable event that would celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship and community unity. Meanwhile, SARGE President Dlamini thanked DHL Express Eswatini for opening their door, when they came knocking for the sponsorship. “The main aim for SARGE is to help the players to attain their fitness goals as well as take them away from bars. This in turn helps to minimise gender-based violence. We are really grateful for your partnership with us,” Dlamini said.
He then revealed that over 40 teams would participate in the tournament, and this would give the company a huge mileage in as far as marketing them was concerned. On the other hand, Nhlanhla Mazibuko from Motshane Social team, speaking on behalf of the clubs, also thanked the company for the sponsorship and highlighted that it would go a long way in motivating them.
