KIT LEAK STUNS WANDERERS

MBABANE – Manzini Wanderers Football Club have released an official statement addressing the leak of their new team kit on social media platforms on Wednesday night.

The hub giants’ players were recently spotted wearing the new team kit during training sessions, which led to mixed reactions from supporters who had seen the leaked images of the kit on social media. Some fans expressed disappointment with the manner in which the kit was unveiled and criticised the club for a lack of professionalism.
In response, the club has issued an official statement about the new kit and assured the fans that, an official unveiling will be held in a manner that befits the club’s brand and reputation.

“Manzini Wanderers Football Club notes with great concern, the circulation of photos on social media purported to be the official unveiling of our new playing kit. “The club would like to clarify that the photos were taken for internal circulation purposes only and not intended for public consumption.

“The unauthorised leak of the photos is humbly regretted and is currently being addressed internally. “The club will properly unveil the kit in a manner consistent with the magnitude of its brand on its official social media page,” reads the statement in part.

Meanwhile, the  Nyanga ‘Crooks’ Hlophe’s team, is set to face-off against the current leaders of the MTN Premier League, Royal Leopard, in a double-header match at Mavuso Sports Centre tomorrow. The game is scheduled to start at 4:30pm, following the earlier match between Mbabane Highlanders and Ezulwini United at 2pm.
