NKOSANA FLIES WITH THE ‘BIRDS’
MBABANE – Capital city giants, Mbabane Swallows, have signed Zimbabwe-born defender Albert Nkosana until the rest of the season.
The former Nsingizini Hotspurs defender was initially loaned to Rangers during the first round of the MTN Premier League season. However, he was later recalled by the Shiselweni-based side, where he was deemed surplus to requirements. The defender signed for Derick Shiba’s outfit during the January transfer window of the previous season, arriving alongside Tanaka Chingahara.
Interestingly, Chingahara’s contract with the club was terminated, despite having five months left. Speaking about his transfer to the Mbabane giants, he expressed his happiness and anticipation for meeting the rest of the team
“I’m delighted to join Mbabane Swallows for the remainder of the season, as they are one of the biggest teams in the country. I aim to repay the faith they have shown in me by contributing to their success. I started my first training session with my new teammates yesterday afternoon, and I’m eagerly anticipating a successful stint with the team,” he said.
Nkosana expressed his gratitude to Derick Shiba, the Director of Insingiz Yezulu, for the support he received during his time playing for the team. “I want to extend my sincere thanks to my former director at Nsingizini for treating me like his own son during my stay with the club. His kindness and support meant a great deal to me. I ‘m truly grateful for the care and respect I received.
“I would also like to express my gratitude to Rangers FC for giving me the opportunity to play for their team. Their welcoming attitude and warm reception made my time with the club truly memorable. I wish both Nsingizini and Rangers FC all the best for the remainder of the season, and I look forward to following their progress with interest,” he added.
