MBABANE – He keeps making the country proud.

This is the story of Eswatini’s swimming sensation Luca ‘GD6’ Fraser, who made waves once again at the Dubai Open and Junior Swimming Championships, securing a gold medal in the 50-metre breaststroke with an impressive time of 32.53 seconds. This achievement adds to his previous success of obtaining a bronze medal in the 100-metre breaststroke on Saturday afternoon. Fraser initially won his heat in the afternoon, qualifying for the final, where he came third with a time of 33.17 seconds.

Eswatini Swimming Association (ESA) interim president and coach Welcome Nhlabatsi said  ‘GD6’ performance was impressive and demonstrated his dedication and talent. Nhlabatsi expressed pride in the swimmer’s achievements and believed that his success would inspire other swimmers in Eswatini to pursue their dreams and compete at higher levels. “This medal holds significant meaning for all of us - Luca, myself, and the entire country.
