MBABANE – The MTN Premier League epic clash between Mbabane Swallows and Royal Leopard has been penned for the newly-constructed Mkhuzweni Technical Centre.

This will be the second elite league match to be hosted at the Eswatini Football Association (EFA) Technical Centre located a few kilometres from the fast-growing Buhleni Town.
The first game to be played at this yet-to-be-completed venue was the Swallows versus Madlenya clash over a fortnight ago. A hat-trick hero Ayanda ‘Gandaganda’ Gadlela-inspired Swallows made the venue their new ‘slaughterhouse’ with a 4-0 drubbing of Madlenya. According to the 2023/24 MTN Premier League fixture programme for week 18 released by the Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) Football Manager Pat Vilakati, the Mkhuzweni Technical Centre will play host to the epic clash between the red and white capital city giants on Saturday at 3pm.

Meanwhile, the King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium will play host to a double-header slated for Friday, with Rangers facing Denver Sundowns at 1:30pm. This will be a curtain-raiser for the Mbabane Highlanders versus Illovo clash at 3:30pm. Young Buffaloes and Nsingizini Hotspurs will take the long trip to the Lubombo Region on Saturday for their match at the KaLanga Technical Centre, while defending champions Green Mamba will welcome struggling Moneni Pirates at the Nsukuwansuku Stadium at Mhlume. All these games will start at 3pm. The PLE has drafted two league games for Sunday, which will see the Simunye Stadium hosting the clash between Manzini Sea Birds and Madlenya at 3pm. On the other hand, Ezulwini United will host Manzini Wanderers in what promises to be a pulsating relegation six-pointer at the King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium. It is worth mentioning that no league game has been billed for the Mavuso Sports Centre this weekend.
