NSINGIZINI, ‘BUFFS’ LADIES OFF TO LESOTHO
MBABANE – Nsingizini Hotspurs and Young Buffaloes ladies left Eswatini yesterday afternoon for international friendly matches in Lesotho.
Nsingizini Hotspurs Public Relations Officer (PRO) Mnotfo Dlamini said their main mandate behind the trip was to motivate the players and expose them to international football. “Having such matches outside the border serves as a motivation to the players as they get to learn and be exposed to so many things that will help them grow in their football career and further help them meet other players from other teams and build a good relationship,” said Dlamini.

Women Football League Chief Operations Officer Ntandoyenkosi Hlatjwayo confirmed the departure of the two teams. “Yes we are aware that the two clubs have left for Lesotho for their international friendly matches,” Hlatjwayo said. Young Buffaloes Ladies Coach Fisiwe Hlophe disclosed that the games would prepare them for the Confederation of African Football (CAF) should they be lucky to win the Women’s League. “This is basically an opportunity for us to prepare ourselves for the CAF, should we win the league,” said Hlophe. Meanwhile, both teams are said to return to the kingdom on Sunday.
