BLOW FOR RANGERS AS ‘TRUEBOY’ LANDS FIRE JOB
MBABANE – Rangers will be without their right-back Mfanasibili ‘Trueboy’ Kunene after he secured employment with the fire services.
This was disclosed by Rangers General Manager Thokozani Ndzinisa on the team’s official facebook page. “Allow us to congratulate our right-back Mfanasibili ‘Trueboy’ Kunene for securing employment with the Eswatini National Fire, Rescue and Emergency Services (ENFRES). He is currently in the institution’s training programme. Due to that, the team won’t have him in some of the games. Determined and capable players have raised their hands to assume the defending responsibility and fight for the team.”
The right back landed the job after ENFRES opened doors for all emaSwati to apply for a job opportunity at the institution. Luckily enough, Kunene was among the 100 emaSwati who will undergo training for the next six months. This then means that Rangers will go to some games without this player. Meanwhile, Mthunzi Ginindza’s led team are 10th on the MTN Premier League charts with 16 points after their meeting with Manzini Sea Birds. The match ended in a 1-all draw, in the the past weekend.
