MBABANE – Sihlangu, the Eswatini’s national football team, is scheduled to depart for Angola today for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Notably, Richards Bay’s Justice Figuareido will be absent from the Dominic-led squad. He has requested to be excused, as he will be participating in the Motsepe Foundation Championships National First Division play-offs. National team interim Coach Dominic Kunene confirmed that he would not replace Figuareido. Eswatini face off with Angola on Friday at the 48 000-seater 11 November Stadium in Luanda, with the kick-off scheduled for 4pm, local time. This coincides with Figuareido’s team’s play-off, commencing today, where Richards Bay will host Pretoria University at the King Zwelithini Stadium at 3pm.
