MBABANE – Ikabort Masocha, the former Coach of Manzini Wanderers, has made a significant move by joining Harare FC in his home country for the 2024/25 season.

Masocha, during his time in Eswatini, has provided coaching services to several teams, including Moneni Pirates, Denver Sundowns, Wanderers and Ezulwini United.
His most recent coaching role was with Ezulwini United, before he departed for a Zimbabwean side. In a press statement released by Harare FC, they expressed their delight in appointing Masocha as their new head coach, while maintaining the rest of the technical team unchanged. The statement highlighted Masocha’s proven track record of success and extensive experience, emphasising his potential to bring a new level of expertise and leadership to the team.

Guidance

Harare FC expressed confidence that under Masocha’s guidance, the team would continue to excel and achieve great success in the upcoming season. The club also extended their deepest gratitude to Newsome Mtema for his dedication as the caretaker coach during a transitional period. However, Ezulwini United’s Public Relations Officer, Guy Magongo, stated that they had not received any official communication from their former coach. Magongo expressed the club’s hope to renew Masocha’s expired contract and confirmed that they had seen reports on Harare FC’s Facebook page regarding the appointment.
