PORT ELIZABETH – Bafana Bafana COSAFA Coach Helman Mkhalele is confident of reaching the semi-finals at the expense of Sihlangu.

The two sides are tied on two points ahead of the decisive Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (COSAFA) Group A clash at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth, at 3pm.  After the disappointing goalless draw against Botswana, two days ago, Mkhalele is confident of grinding the result against Eswatini. “Going back to the drawing board with the next game, our last game against Eswatini; we have to make sure that we win that game to increase our chances of progressing to the next round. “What we lacked today were those passes and movements; those runs between and behind their defensive lines, especially in the entries of the final third,” he continued.

Quality

“If we can increase those entries, I still believe that we have more quality that can score or take those opportunities,” he said. All teams in the group that  include Botswana and Mozambique are tied on two points. If two teams in the group finish on five points, one will hope to progress as a best runner-up.
