MBABANE – Big changes!

This is what transpired in the 2024 Mpumalanga Premier Cup as top Tanzanian side Young Africans, who are also known as Yanga FC, have replaced South Africa (SA)’s DStv Premiership outfit SuperSport United. The Gavin Hunt-coached side were initially confirmed as one of the teams to be part of the tournament to be played at the 2010 FIFA World Cup Stadium, Mbombela in Nelspruit.

The pre-season tournament has been organised by TS Galaxy Foundation and will now feature Yanga instead of SuperSport United. “It is Yanga FC from Tanzania now, not SuperSport,” Sukazi said.Sukazi also confirmed that they would cover all expenses related to Swallows participation in the tournament, including travel, accommodation and other logistics. The tournament will see German Bundesliga team Augsburg FC, also taking part.
