MBABANE – Ambitious Nsingizini Hotspurs have reportedly secured the services of former Manzini Sea Birds attacking midfielder, Innocent Dlamini.

The former ‘Izinyoni Zolwandle’ winger resigned from the  Sibusiso Mngomezulu side in March, over reported conflicts with some team officials.  The player was reportedly training with Mbabane Swallows lately, until he received a call to train with the two-time MoMo Cup champions.  According to the latest developments, Dlamini has reportedly signed a two-year contract with Nsingizini Hotspurs, a team keen to bolster its roster with talented players. “From the reports I’ve been able to access; it appears that Nsingizini Hotspurs have initiated the process of acquiring Innocent Dlamini, as a replacement for the departed Mayibongwe Mabuza.

“Dlamini is said to have agreed to the proposed two-year contract, and all that remains is the official transfer of his registration papers. If successful, this move will significantly strengthen Nsingizini Hotspurs’ attacking options in the upcoming season. I will continue to monitor developments and provide updates as they become available,” the source shared.

Targets

According to a source familiar with the negotiations, Nsingizini Hotspurs are reportedly pursuing further transfers, with former Moneni Pirates players Nkosinathi ‘Stina’ Shongwe and Sizwe Maseko said to be targets. “It appears that Nsingizini Hotspurs have ambitious plans for the upcoming season, with a concerted effort to acquire top talent that can propel the team to the top of the league standings. The reported signings of Innocent Dlamini, as well as potential deals for Nkosinathi ‘Stina’ Shongwe and Sizwe Maseko, are clear indications of the club’s determination to strengthen its squad depth and enhance its overall quality.” the source stated.

Responding to inquiries from the media, Nsingizini Hotspurs Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Banele Ngobe confirmed that the team will provide a formal announcement regarding its recent transfers after completing the necessary contractual and administrative procedures. Derick Shiba’s side have made a series of  transfers, releasing three players deemed surplus to requirements by the technical team, led by Alexio Sigion. These players include Lwazi Bhembe, Wandile Sacolo and Philani Nhleko. In another move, Nsingizini have reportedly secured the services of Khanyakwezwe Shabalala, formerly with Mbabane Highlanders. The club reportedly signed Shabalala on a two-year contract, providing much-needed depth and experience to the team’s defensive options.
