SARGE CHARITY CUP TEAM MASIPALA E7 000 RICHER
MATSAPHA – The Matsapha Town Council were officially crowned champions of the E30 000 Shiselweni Region Social and Recreational Football Charity Cup.
They were presented with their E7 000 replica cheque and a floating trophy by Eteteni Engen Filling Station owner Asraful ‘Mansur’ Chowdhury in the presence of Social and Recreational Games Eswatini (SARGE) President Nathi Dlamini on Friday. This was the third edition of the charity cups under the banner of the SARGE, which was sponsored by the Eteteni Engen Filling Station in Matsapha. The filling station is owned by the Chowdhury Investments Group, who were also the sponsors of the Hhohho and Shiselweni editions.

The SARGE President thanked the filling station for partnering with social teams during tough economic times in the country. “I would like to thank all the teams for partaking in this big tournament, and making it a success and I would also like to congratulate the champions, Team Masipala,” Dlamini said. He also urged all the social teams in the country to continue supporting the Chowdhury Investments Group businesses so that they would be able to give back to the community again in the future. Meanwhile, Mansur congratulated the champions for lifting the third edition of the social teams’ tournament sponsored by his businesses.
