WOMEN CHALLENGE RUN SET FOR SEPTEMBER 14
MBABANE – The second edition of Athletics Eswatini (AE) Women Challenge Run is set for September 14, 2024 in Olympafrica Centre, Lobamba.
The purpose of the challenge run is to empower women by promoting fitness and creating a supportive community. The registration fee for this women’s challenge is E50. The registration centres are Eswatini Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association (EOCGA) and Eswatini Sports and Recreation Council (ESRC) offices.According to AE Acting Chief Operations Officer, Nomcebo Simelane, there would be two categories for the women’s challenge run. These are the 10km and 5km.
“We kindly encourage everyone to participate; let us make this second edition even more cheerful and memorable,’’ Simelane added. Aligning the Women Challenge with the ESRC’s key Performance Areas (KPAs) is a strategic move. It will play a major role in ensuring that the event contributes not only to the fitness and community building, but also to the broader sports development goals.
