The one-day tournament was held at Lynville Stadium in Witbank, South Africa. The fiercely contested match saw the Shiselweni-based team clinching the win, with Neliso Myeni’s decisive goal coming 21 minutes into the game, marking the team’s inaugural pre-season trophy win. Having navigated through the first semi-finals with impressive victories, Nsingizini Hotspurs triumphed over Middleburg United with a 2-1 scoreline, while Swallows secured their spot in the finals by prevailing 5-4 against Tshwane University of Technology.

The ultimate showdown between these formidable sides culminated in a well-deserved victory for the Alexio Sigion-led team. It is worth noting that both teams are diligently preparing for their upcoming CAF tournaments. Caleb Ngwenya’s squad is set to face Mozambique’s Ferroviário da Beira at Lucas Moripe Stadium in the CAF Champions League qualifier, while Hotspurs will host Stellenbosch at Moses Mabhida Stadium. both matches are slated for Saturday, August 17.
