‘CHIEF’ WITHDRAWS FROM PLE ELECTION
MBABANE - The race for the Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) executive member has narrowed to seven contenders as Sandile ‘Chief’ Dlamini had stepped out of the competition.
The Eswatini Football Association (EFA) Ethics Committee announced that the former Manzini Wanderers director officially withdrew his candidacy through a letter on July 31.
Chairman Magistrate Siphosini Dlamini made this announcement yesterday, just before the start of the election campaigns at Sigwaca House. The reasons for his withdrawal were not disclosed. However, only those vying for the position of the chairman campaigned.
