HLUTI – They are a cut above the rest.

This is the story of MTN Premier League side Nsingizini Hotspurs who have signed a one-year renewable sleeve sponsorship deal worth E1.5 million with Macsteel Eswatini. The Shiselweni-based team, also unveiled their brand new kit for the upcoming season in collaboration with their technical sponsor, Primo.

The latest kit, adorned with Primo’s signature branding, marks the continuation of a flourishing partnership that was initially established in the 2023/24 season with a three-year agreement set to expire in the 2025/26 campaign. Insingizi Yezulu, as the team is nicknamed, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Banele Ngobe, officiated the unveiling of the sponsorship with Macsteel Eswatini Managing Director (MD), Sabelo Maziya. The sponsorship is set to span one year with the potential for renewal. Adding to the significance of the occasion, Primo Director Bobby Deutschmann, who holds a major share in the company, attended the event yesterday afternoon.

Elevating the occasion to new heights, the event saw a diverse array of attendees, including representatives from Embiveni Meats, Macsteel Eswatini, the team elders, as well as players all gathered at the club’s home base at Hluthi in the Shiselweni region. In the aftermath of the momentous sponsorship announcement, Ngobe announced that the partnership is an important moment in the club’s storied history, especially in light of the team’s 40-year anniversary. He highlighted the transformative impact that the sponsorship would have on the team, while acknowledging the importance of the occasion in commemorating the team’s roots and legacy within the community.

The latest sponsorship deal with Macsteel Eswatini is one of Nsingizini’s most significant partnerships to date, ranking alongside their previous deal with Embiveni Meats worth E1.5 million too. Macsteel Eswatini is a leading supplier of steel and steel-related products in the kingdom.
