OVER 30 EPL GAMES LIVE ON ESWATINI TV

MBABANE – Eswatini TV is ‘rolling out’ a red carpet for the country’s soccer fans.

The national broadcaster has announced the exclusive live coverage of up to 33 English Premier League (EPL) games. They will be broadcast live, from this Saturday. First on the ‘menu’ will be a match between last season’s runners-up Arsenal and Wolverhampton at 3pm. “The popular football league, which features some of the best teams and players in the world, will be available for local fans to watch from the comfort of their own homes,” shared Eswatini TV Senior Marketing Communications Officer Nomcebo Malinga.

Notably, the television station had a reception event for the EPL games at the British High Commission in Ezulwini, last Friday. Football bigwigs and guests led by Minister of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs Bongani Nzima and Acting British High Commissioner Elliott Haynes witnessed the festivities. Meanwhile, the EPL is known for its fast-paced action, competitive matches and passionate fans. With teams like Manchester City, Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal all striving for the coveted title, viewers can expect thrilling games and unforgettable moments throughout the season.

Malinga disclosed that the matches would be broadcast live on Eswatini TV every Saturday, with a build-up at 3pm all the way to kick-off time at 4pm. “Whether they are supporters of a top club or simply enjoy watching high-quality football as well as last-minute goals to controversial decisions; viewers will be able to witness the drama unfold in real-time, creating a truly immersive viewing experience,” she highlighted.

Showdown

One of the most highly-anticipated games is the showdown between Manchester City and Liverpool, two of the top teams in the league. Both teams have a history of heated encounters and a vicious challenge, making this match-up a must-watch for football fans. In addition to the Manchester City and Liverpool game, other exciting fixtures on the horizon include Chelsea and Manchester United; Arsenal versus Tottenham Hotspur; and  Leicester City against Everton. 

“With so many exciting match-ups on the schedule, football fans in Eswatini have plenty to look forward to in the coming weeks. The live broadcast of the English Premier League games on Eswatini TV will surely be a hit with fans in the country.” Moreover, viewers can expect top-notch analysis, in-depth discussions and expert predictions from a talented line-up of analysts who include revered Eswatini soccer legends. “Eswatini TV is pleased to a unveil star studded soccer legends line-up of studio analysts namely; Siza Dlamini, Tony Tsabedze and Nhlanhla Maphanga who will be bring their expertise and insights to viewers each week.
