PIRATES’ LEGEND ‘BOY BOY’ NYEMBE DIES

The news of Sibusiso ‘Boy Boy’ Nyembe’s untimely passing has left the Eswatini football community reeling. The legendary Moneni Pirates striker, known affectionately as ‘Best’ to supporters and teammates, succumbed to an illness early this week. The former striker left behind an unmatched legacy of on-field excellence and off-field charisma. The shock of his loss was felt deeply by his club, which issued a poignant media statement on their social media pages, paying heartfelt tribute to a former player whose contributions to Eswatini football would not be forgotten.

“Moneni Pirates Football Club learnt with shock, the untimely demise of one of the biggest legends of the club and the game in Eswatini in general, Sibusiso ‘Boy Boy’ Nyembe. He responded to the call from God earlier this week. “Moneni Pirates Football Club and the country at large remain poorer without “Best.” May his soul rest in eternal peace,” read part of the statement in part.
