MANZINI – Royal Leopard defenders must brace themselves, as Moneni Pirates are set to unveil a new striker.
This announcement was made by the club’s newly appointed President, Thulani Xaba, during a meeting with the team at Manzini Club yesterday. Pirates will play Leopard in the opening game of the 8bet Trade Fair Cup. Kick-off is at 2pm at Mavuso Sports Centre this afternoon. “This year, we are serious about our ambitions. We have secured the talents of two foreign players from Ivory Coast and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Their contributions will significantly enhance the quality we already possess, and our mandate for the players and coaching staff this season is unequivocal: we must win matches,” stated Xaba.
The new signings include Herve Irie Bi Zahi from Ivory Coast, who previously played for DHJ Difaa Hassani Jadidi in Morocco. The other acquisition, Patient Ikamba, has recently played for Simba in Tanzania. Similarly, Ikamba conveyed his enthusiasm and remarked on the warm welcome he has received at the Moneni-based club.
