WE WILL TRIUMPH AGAINST ‘BIRDS’ – NSINGIZINI COACH

MANZINI – Nsingizini Hotspurs Coach Alexio Sigion is brimming with optimism ahead of the quarter-final clash against Mbabane Swallows.  

Sigion made his remarks during a post-match interview after his side secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Manzini Wanderers in the Round of 16 of the 8Bet Trade Fair Cup tournament. Nsingizini will now face Mbabane Swallows, who triumphed over Sisonke with a similar scoreline.  “It was an exhilarating match with a high tempo on both sides,” Sigion stated. “Our experience in continental football has equipped us to identify and rectify our mistakes, while enhancing our scoring capabilities. It’s always a privilege to compete against Swallows, and I am genuinely excited about our prospects. We will undoubtedly emerge victorious.”  

He affirmed that the team will prepare meticulously for the forthcoming encounter against Swallows. Meanwhile, Manzini Wanderers Coach Musa Manyatsi expressed his disappointment, suggesting that the team’s supporters should consult their gods regarding the loss. “We did everything possible to secure a win, yet we fell short,” he lamented. “Our team played with integrity, executing our game plan effectively. We created clear opportunities through quick transitions and maintained confidence on the ball, but unfortunately, we could not achieve a positive result.”
