TUBUNGU CLUB HOSTS NIGHT FISHING COMPETITION

MBABANE - The Tubungu Bass Club is set to make waves in the angling community by hosting a ground-breaking night angling competition, at the end of this month.
This announcement was made by the Eswatini Angling Association (EAA) President, Derek Hopf.In a move that signals a fresh approach to fishing competitions in Eswatini, the Tubungu Bass Club will be holding its first annual club competition. “We are thrilled to announce that this will be our first-ever night time event,” Hopf stated, highlighting the innovation behind the competition.

The competition is scheduled to take place from September 27 to 29, with fishing set to commence at 5pm and conclude at 10pm. This unique tournament gives anglers an opportunity to fish under the stars. To kick off the festivities, the club will host a meeting at 2:30pm. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own food, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among members before fishing begins. “We want everyone to come together, enjoy some good food and prepare for an exciting night of fishing,” Hopf added.
Hopf emphasised the importance of participation, urging all members of the EAA to take part in this innovative event.

He also encouraged attendees to stay overnight at the clubhouse, where they can take advantage of the club’s facilities and enjoy a memorable evening with fellow fishing enthusiasts.
