‘BULL’ BLANK ON MASS MEETING

MBABANE – Mbabane Highlanders have clarified that no supporters’ meeting has been sanctioned by the club.

An unsigned letter that dominated social media platforms, from this past Wednesday, suggested that the ‘Black Bull’ will have a mass meeting at Manzini Central Primary School, tomorrow at noon.  Highlanders Public Relations Officer (PRO) Kenneth Dlamini distanced the team from the said gathering, saying it was illegal. “There is a clear procedure for arranging meetings at Highlanders. Some people tried to abuse the team’s official social media platforms and posted the notice. It was later removed,” stressed Dlamini.

The meeting, which is said to be illegal, has three agenda items that include the past season’s report; 2024/25 campaign plan; and supporters’ concern. “Our focus now is on logistics of the new season. We’re blank about any mass meeting,” Dlamini stressed. Notably, a Highlanders’ meeting has never been held in Manzini before. They are usually held in the Mbabane-Ezulwini corridor. Before a meeting can be arranged about the team, there should be approval from both the Managing Director (MD), Chief Ally Kgomongwe, and the management committee (MC).
