PARKING ZONES REVEALED
MBABANE - As the Imbube Marathon fast approaches, organisers aim to ensure that all participants and guests will have a smooth and enjoyable experience.
They have provided crucial information regarding stadium access and parking zones, referring attendees to the attached map. The green zone on the map is designated for public parking, accessible to all attendees and accommodating a significant number of vehicles. The blue zone is reserved for esteemed VIP guests, including Board members, chief executive officers (CEOs), Investment Committee members and ministers. Access to this area will be strictly controlled to ensure the comfort and convenience of the VIPs.
responsibilities
The yellow zone is exclusively for the use of the Imbube Marathon organising team, facilitating easy access for the team to carry out their responsibilities effectively. To ensure the safety of all participants and comply with World Athletics standards, important road closures will be in effect. The road leading to Somhlolo National Stadium is scheduled to be closed to traffic starting at 4am on Sunday, October 6. This will be on the day of the Imbube Marathon. All runners are requested to use the highway to access the stadium, as this measure is crucial to ensuring that runners have dedicated lanes free from traffic. The police will implement road closures at the Lobamba Traffic Circle (Sihlahleni) and Woodlands Traffic Circle.
These closures are necessary to maintain a safe environment for runners and spectators alike. Moreover, the organisers apologise for any inconvenience these measures might cause and appreciate the understanding and cooperation of all attendees.
