IMBUBE MARATHON: HOT DAY EXEPCTED

MBABANE –The Somhlolo National Stadium will be the epicentre of a thrilling sporting event on Sunday, as the Imbube Marathon gets underway.

Eswatini’s skies will be clear and inviting on the day of the Imbube Marathon, as the Eswatini Meteorological Service predicts ideal weather conditions for the athletes. The Eswatini National Provident Fund (ENPF) Marketing and Communications Officer, Magman Mahlalela, has announced that an impressive 6 000 participants have registered for the event, promising an exciting and vibrant atmosphere for spectators and competitors alike.

Start

As the race gets underway, the 42km race start at 5:30am, followed by the 21km race at 6am, with each subsequent race starting at 15-minute intervals. The early start times are designed to allow runners to take advantage of the cool morning temperatures, ensuring they can perform at their best during this rigorous challenge. The anticipated temperatures on Sunday are at 26 degrees Celcius in Mbabane and 28 for Lobamba.
