... EFA SHOULD INVEST IN DIETICIAN - LOGARUSIC
MBABANE – Sihlangu Head Coach Zdravko Logarusic said the Eswatini Football Association must invest in a dietician and a video analyst.
The Croatian gaffer made these remarks during the announcement of the 25-member squad to prepare for the 2025 TotalEnergies African Nations Championship (CHAN) Qualifiers against Zimbabwe. Logarusic said there is a need for the local football governing body to be ready to pay someone, who will specialise on the national team players’ diet, as this is part of the sport’s requirements.
“The federation should also be ready to pay for a video analyst, as currently I’m using YouTube to analyse the players as well as our opponents,” Logarusic said. He was, however, quick to highlight that such initiative needed money to be implemented successfully. It is worth mentioning that former Sihlangu Dutch Coach Pieter De Jongh once introduced a strict diet for the players; however they cried that they were being starved as they were fed pasta.
