MBABANE - Former AS Interladies midfielder Thandolwethu Simelane is set to complete her registration with new team Green Mamba.

She won the case against her former club AS Interladies at the Players Status Committee (PSC). She had taken the side to the PSC to demand her clearance. The case was heard by the PSC, on Tuesday evening, and it ruled in favour of Simelane. Simelane featured for Sitsebe in the Women Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (COSAFA) Championships which took place in Gqeberha, South Africa, in 2022.

Meanwhile, the 2024/25 Eswatini Women Football League (EWFL), according to the Chief Executive Officer (COO) Ntandoyenkhosi Hlatjwako, is expected to kick-off after the upcoming Hollywoodbets COSAFA Women’s Championship (CWC). “We anticipate starting our 2024/25 EWFL on November 9, 2024. Our greatest wish for the new season is to have a competitive and peaceful league,” Hlatjwako said.This year’s edition will be played in Gqeberha, South Africa. It is scheduled to start next week and conclude on November 2, 2024.
