MBABANE – In a riveting display of skill and camaraderie, Mbongwa Dlamini and Brian Mayisela clinched the title at the Epilepsy Charity Golf Tournament.

The tournament was held at the Nkonyeni Golf Estate on Friday. The duo excelled in the Betterball Stableford format, finishing with an impressive score of 49. Their teamwork and talent on the course were evident, and they celebrated their success amid cheers from fellow participants and supporters.

Following closely behind, the team of Dumisa Gama and Teddy Vilakati secured second place with a commendable score of 46. They demonstrated remarkable synergy throughout their rounds, making crucial putts that kept them in contention for the coveted title. Sive Dlamini and Leonard Bennett took third place, achieving a score of 44. They were tied with Wandile Simelane and Mbuso Mdluli, who also scored 44, but fell to fourth place on countback. The competition was intense, and both pairs showcased impressive skills, making it a thrilling experience for all involved.

Rounding up the top five were, Olive Simelane and Phumzile Dlamini, finishing with a score of 43. Their consistent play and strategic approaches throughout the tournament added to the excitement of the round. In addition to the main winners, several participants shone brightly in the novelty categories, showcasing specific skills that added additional fun to the day. Frans Strauss claimed the prize for Closest to the Pin on hole number 20, while Sabelo Gama took home the accolade for Closest to the Pin on hole number 18. Valentine Maziya earned the title for Longest Drive on hole number five, impressing everyone with his powerful swing.
