MALKERNS OUT TO ‘DODGE’ ARROWS
MBABANE – In a thrilling encounter set to ignite the darts fraternity, log leaders Malkerns will go head-to-head with second-placed Green Arrows.
This will transpire during the Eswatini Royal Insurance Corporation (ESRIC) Darts League. The 2024 Eswatini National Darts Association (ENDA) League, backed by a generous sponsorship of E150 000 from the ESRIC, will unfold its week 14 matches at the Elangeni High School Hall. The first fixtures are scheduled to commence at 1pm, followed by the second round of games at 2:30pm at the same venue. Malkerns Darts Team, reigning champions, will kick off the weekend with a high-stakes showdown against Green Arrows, who currently sit just below them in the standings.
Rivals
The defending champions find themselves seven points clear of their rivals, although it’s worth noting that Malkerns have played one match more than Green Arrows. The Malkerns side will wrap up their weekend matches with a subsequent game against another Correctional Darts Team. Green Roses, at 2:30pm. On paper, this appears to be a comfortable outing for Malkerns, as Green Roses languish in 12th place in the standings. Meanwhile, ENDA Public Relations Officer Flag Nxumalo has urged all teams to come prepared for what promises to be an exhilarating day of darts.
