‘BULL’ URGED TO WIN DERBY FOR ‘TEN TEN’
MBABANE – Inkunzi’emnyama Patron Benson Dlamini has called on the team to defeat their rivals, Mbabane Swallows, today in honour of the late Innocent ‘Ten Ten’ Ginindza.
The capital city giants are set to clash in an MTN Premier League match scheduled for the Mavuso Sports Centre later this afternoon. Dlamini made these remarks during the memorial service for the former Highlanders legendary striker, held at the Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church yesterday. In his address, Dlamini expressed gratitude to the black and white capital city giants for nurturing the late Ginindza not only as a footballer but also as an individual. He stated that ‘Ten Ten’ will always remain a part of Mbabane Highlanders, as his father also played for the ‘Bull’.
“Sea Water (Ten Ten’s father) played for the team his entire life, as did his son. We hope the Ginindza family will continue to support the Highlanders,” Dlamini said. He also mentioned that his teammate, Sifiso ‘Barnes’ Mkhulisi, had already honoured Ginindza by securing a victory over Young Buffaloes this past Wednesday at the Mkhuzweni Technical Centre.
“I, therefore, urge the team to honour him by beating our neighbours today,” he said, as the ‘Bull’ supporters broke into the famous ‘Gwaza Nkunzi Emnyama’ song.
