SHOOTERS SET TO THRILL
MBABANE - The Eswatini Shooting Association (ESA) will this weekend host a shooting tournament to mark the end of the year 2024.
The good news was disclosed by the ESA General Gugu Dlamini. The tournament is dubbed ‘Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Sisonkhe shooting tournament’ and will be held tomorrow at Nokwane starting at 9am. According to Dlamini, the tournament will see teams contesting in a battle. Each competitor is required to pay a registration fee of E50. “The ESA will tomorrow stage a shooting tournament to end the year. It is styled ‘Sisonkhe Shooting tournament’. This tournament aims to accelerate efforts to end GBV through sports,” Dlamini said. Dlamini invited all shooters and shooting enthusiasts to come in their numbers to be part of the event. “We would like to invite people to come and join us in celebrating the end of this year and also to continue sending awareness about GBV which has become a big monster in the country,” she added.
