MBABANE – Relief.
In a heartwarming turn of events, Sibahle Sukati, the Mbabane Highlanders player who recently fell into a coma for approximately five hours after being struck at the back of the head by a ball, has made a remarkable recovery. After undergoing a Computed Tomography (CT) scan at Mbabane Government Hospital, which fortunately revealed no abnormalities, Sukati was discharged yesterday morning. Team Manager Makhosonkhe Gama, confirmed the positive news, noting that the results of the scan would be communicated to Sukati on Friday, offering further reassurance to his teammates and fans alike.

celebrate

While Highlanders celebrate Sukati’s return to health, the mood within the squad remains overshadowed by financial woes. During their recent match against Green Mamba at Mhlume Stadium, where they suffered a disappointing 2-0 defeat, the players were allocated E4 000 in gate takings to share. However, this sum barely alleviates the pressing concern of their three-month salary backlog, a situation that has left the players feeling under-valued and restless.
