BULL, BIRDS FOR ‘GRAND OPENING’

MBABANE – The road ahead for Green Mamba in their quest to defend the Ingwenyama Cup title will be anything but conventional.
The Correctional Services team, who triumphed in the previous edition, are set to commence their title defence at the Manzini Club Sports Ground—a venue that has become somewhat alien to them. Under the guidance of Coach Ernest Mavuso, the side find themselves out of the grand opening scheduled for the Mavuso Sports Centre on Sunday. The draw, released yesterday by the Premier League of Eswatini (PLE), has placed the reigning champions in a clash against MTN National First Division (NFD) side, Masundwini Royal Swallows.

This intriguing encounter is slated for 3:30pm and will be preceded by a match between Nsenga Comrades and Young Buffaloes. As Green Mamba navigates their unfamiliar surroundings, the tournament will officially kick off on Sunday with a double-header at the Mavuso Sports Centre. The weekend promises a flurry of exhilarating matchups across the nation. Mbabane Swallows, the runners-up from the last edition, will be featured on what is expected to be the grand opening at Mavuso on Sunday. “We are thrilled to announce the return of Pre-Sale Tickets! Tickets can now be conveniently purchased at selected outlets,” shared the PLE.
Ticket costs range between E30 and E50.
