MAKHEHLENI RESIGNS AGAIN
MBABANE – In a twist of events, Innocent ‘Makhehleni’ Dlamini has once again resigned from Green Mamba, despite having previously rejoined the team following his initial resignation.
The resignation of the player was shared with the publication by Mandla Sibiya, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the team, who said the player tendered his resignation on Wednesday. “Yes it’s true that Innocent Dlamini has resigned from the club and any team that wants to sign the player must come to us because he is still contracted to the team,” he said.
According to sources familiar with the matter, Dlamini’s resignation is believed to be a precursor to his transfer to Young Buffaloes. Young Buffaloes’ CEO, Sandile Gwebu, dismissed the rumours that the club had signed the ‘Inyoka Eluhlazane ‘player, stating that they were aware of the player’s resignation through social media platforms.
“We saw the reports of Dlamini’s resignation on social media, but I can confirm that he has not joined Young Buffaloes,” Gwebu explained, debunking the speculation that the midfielder had signed with the club. The shock resignation of Dlamini is not the first time, as at the start of the season he resigned alongside Sibongakonkhe Silenge.
With the MTN Premier League season set to commence, Dlamini and Silenge mysteriously vanished from the ‘Inyoka Eluhlazane’ roster, sending ripples of surprise throughout the club. To the astonishment of many, the two players materialised at Young Buffaloes within hours, only to eventually return to the club later.
