HUB UTILITY, HHOHHO FA CELEBRATE 8YRS TOGETHER

MBABANE – The long-standing relationship between Hub Utility Stores and the Hhohho Regional Football Association (HRFA) is regarded as a key pillar in the development of football.

This sentiment was expressed by Hub Utility Stores’ Chief Brand and Customer Experience Officer Khumbu Dlamini during the draw for the Hub Lobamba Under-17 Knockout Tournament held yesterday at Sigwaca House. All the league’s sponsored teams prepare to compete for the championship title and a coveted spot in the national championships. Six teams are anticipated to reach this stage. Dlamini stated that they are humbled by their eight-year partnership with the clubs through their regional governing body. She explained that such relationships have enabled both parties to achieve their objectives and grow collectively.

Performances

Dlamini commended the teams for their outstanding performances, which have propelled them to the knockout stages. She also praised the talent nurtured through their leagues and expressed their commitment to all stakeholders, urging them to support one another. Meanwhile, HRFA Chairman Dr Comfort Shongwe acknowledged the success of the leagues despite facing some challenges. He noted that this demonstrated the teams’ commitment and appreciation for the sponsor’s years of support.

Shongwe also extended gratitude to Hub Utility Stores for their backing of the tournament, as the football association provides a platform for young talent to develop and excel. The draw for the Lobamba League then took place. Defending champions Liwakawaka will face off against Golden Kings in the second game, while Lobamba Dynamos will take on Ezulwini Aces in the opening match of the one-day tournament. Full details of the tournament are expected to be released soon, with matches slated for next weekend.
