NOBUHLE FINISHES 28TH IN PLATINUM LADIES OPEN
MBABANE – Eswatini professional golfer, Nobuhle Dlamini continues to shine in 2025, her star glowing brighter with every swing.
Her latest feat came at the Platinum Ladies Open, a cracking tournament that ran from March 19 -21 at the stunning Blair Atholl Golf and Equestrian Estate. Nearly 90 golfers battled it out for a juicy E1.2 million purse, and Dlamini held her own against the lot.
The Lobamba-born golfer kicked off with a tidy two-under-par 70 on day one, and then turned up the heat with a brilliant four-under 68 on day two.
She rounded it off with a level-par 72 on the final day, finishing with a total of 210, three under par. That landed her in 28th place—not her flashiest result, but a solid effort that kept her among the top 41 who made the cut, pocketing 28.50 Investec Order of Merit points and a bit of cash.
South Africa’s Kiera Floyd stole the show, winning with a scorching 15-under-par 198 (71-67-60), while England’s Hayley Davis nabbed second at 14 under (199, 65-68-66). South Africa’s Cassandra Alexander completed the podium at 12 under (201, 66-66-69), leaving Dlamini 12 shots off the lead but still in the conversation.
