NOBUHLE TAKES 6TH AT ABSA INVITATIONAL
MBABANE – Eswatini professional golfer Nobuhle Dlamini has finished sixth in the ongoing ABSA Ladies Invitational tournament.
The tournament is played under the Sunshine Tour banner and features over 100 golfers competing at the Royal Johannesburg Golf Course for a substantial purse of E1.2 million. Dlamini finished sixth, tied with Tereza Melecka and Carmen Alonso, all of whom ended the round with a score of -5.
Leading the tournament on day two was Thalia Martin, who maintained her commanding position with an impressive score of -10 after carding rounds of 69 and 65 the lowest of her career.
Following closely behind her in second place is Madelene Stavnar, who finished the day at -7 with scores of 69 and 68. The tournament is set to conclude today, with the top 40 golfers poised to receive monetary rewards. Notably, the top 10 players are expected to earn over E50 000 each for their remarkable performances throughout the event.
