ENJABULWENI STEALS THE SHOW
MBABANE – They were simply a cut above the rest.
Enjabulweni School delivered a masterclass at the Inter-Schools Swimming Championships, held on their home turf on Saturday.
The hosts dominated the pool, bagging a haul of gold medals as their swimmers produced standout performances across multiple categories.
The tone was set in the Under-14 50 metres (m) backstroke, where Gcinizwi Ndlovu powered to victory in the girls’ event, while Seonil Gang matched her brilliance to take the boys’ title, both flying the Enjabulweni flag high.

The hosts kept the momentum rolling as Tiano Fraser stormed to glory in the boys’ Under-20 50m butterfly, with Sibo Mtseftwa adding another gold in the 50m Under-16 breaststroke. It was a performance that left the home crowd buzzing.
Not to be completely outdone, Waterford’s swimmers made their mark, securing a clutch of silver medals.
Malachi Onyango impressed in the boys’ Under-16 50m breaststroke, while Marang Obuseng shone in the Under-18 event, ensuring their school stayed in the medal hunt.
Nozipho Mahlalela, Secretary of the Eswatini Swimming Association (ESA), was on hand, lending her expertise to the event in a partnership that added extra gloss to the championships.
When the final whistle blew, Enjabulweni stood tall atop the podium, with Waterford settling for second spot.
Sisekelo took third, followed by U-Tech in fourth and Usuthu rounding out the top five.
